Terms of Service
These terms explain how Attnd works for people discovering events, buying tickets, hosting events and sharing referral links. The operator and contact details are in our legal notice. Please read the refund policy before booking.
1. Using Attnd
You need an account to book tickets or create events. Keep your account information accurate and do not let another person use your sign-in codes. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you tell us about unauthorized access. You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live. Events may have additional age or entry requirements displayed by their host.
2. Events and hosts
Attnd provides event discovery, booking, ticket delivery and related tools. Event hosts create their own listings and are responsible for their descriptions, schedules, venues, accessibility information, entry rules and delivery of the event. Event details shown before payment form part of your booking information. Hosts must have the rights and permissions needed to run their events and upload their media.
We may remove a listing or restrict an account when we have reasonable grounds to believe that it is misleading, unsafe, unlawful or violates these terms. We do not promise that every event or user listing is error-free.
3. Tickets and payments
Before you pay, the checkout shows the ticket type, quantity, currency, ticket price, Attnd platform fee and total. Card and supported wallet payments are handled by Stripe. Attnd does not receive your full card number. A booking is confirmed only after payment succeeds and the ticket appears in your account or a confirmation is sent. A failed or abandoned payment does not create a valid ticket.
Keep your ticket and QR code private. A ticket can only be checked in once. If ticket transfer is available for a booking, the recipient must accept it before using the ticket. Do not resell or duplicate tickets in a way that violates the event rules or applicable law.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Our refund policy explains what happens when a host cancels or materially changes an event, when you cannot attend, and how to request help. Your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law always apply. Any event-specific cancellation terms must be displayed before payment and cannot override those rights.
5. Affiliate links and co-hosting
Referral links may identify the person who shared an event or invited someone to Attnd. Commission rates, eligibility and any payout requirements must be shown in the relevant event or dashboard. A click or invitation alone does not guarantee commission; eligible paid sales are recorded after payment is confirmed and may be reversed if the purchase is refunded or disputed. Fraudulent clicks, self-referrals, fake accounts and misleading promotion are prohibited.
Co-host invitations and revenue shares require agreement between the host and co-host. Figures marked as estimates in the app are not a payment guarantee. Any payout depends on completed sales, refunds, payment-provider requirements and the applicable host agreement.
6. Your content and conduct
You keep ownership of photos, descriptions and other content you upload. You give Attnd permission to store, display and technically adapt that content only as needed to operate and promote the relevant event and the service. You must have the right to upload it. Do not harass others, impersonate anyone, post unlawful content, interfere with the service or misuse payments, check-in or referral systems.
Zero tolerance: objectionable content (hate, harassment, sexual content, violence, scams or illegal activity) and abusive users are not allowed. You can report profiles, events, reviews and live moments and block other users in the app. We review reports within 24 hours, remove offending content and suspend or remove the accounts responsible.
7. Availability and responsibility
We work to keep Attnd available and accurate, but temporary interruptions and changes can occur. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Where the law permits, we are not responsible for losses caused by a host’s acts, inaccurate host information or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Contact us promptly if you discover a booking problem so we can investigate.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights attached to a completed booking. For questions, complaints or account requests, use the contact details in our legal notice. Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
